GC500 Traffic Changes Hero Image

The streets of Surfers Paradise and Main Beach have been transformed in preparation for the 2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 Car Race which will be held between 24-26 October.

A number of streets will be closed including those immediately surrounding our resort.  Due to the change in traffic conditions and heavy police presence, delays moving around the city will be experienced including after the event has concluded while the track is dismantled.

Here are some ways to make your travel to and from the resort as smooth as possible:

Parking Information

Onsite parking is limited and may already be sold out. To avoid disappointment, we strongly encourage you to book parking in advance online: Click here for more information

Getting to the Resort

Paradise Resort is located at 122 Ferny Avenue, also referred to as the Gold Coast Highway.  The only vehicle access to Paradise Resort will be via Cypress Avenue or the main driveway entrance.  Leaving the area will also be via Cypress Avenue until Wednesday 29 October when the streets begin to re-open.

If you have pre-booked undercover parking: You may enter the main driveway, park in the 15-minute waiting bay while you check in and collect your key, and then proceed to the carpark. The exit is via Oak Avenue, after which you will need to turn left and proceed to Cypress Avenue, which is the only street open.

If you have NOT pre-booked undercover parking: To access the resort by car, you will need to turn onto Cypress Avenue and then onto Oak Avenue. An outdoor public carpark is located between Norfolk Avenue and Pine Avenue, operated by Pri-Park. On-street parking is free but has a strict 2- or 3-hour parking limit on most streets. Once you have found a carpark, you can access the resort on foot via the main entrance.

Public Transport: The G:link light rail (tram) is one of the easiest ways to get around during the GC500 weekend. The nearest station to Paradise Resort is Surfers Paradise North, just a short walk from our entrance. Services will run frequently throughout the event, making it a convenient way to travel to and from Surfers Paradise without the hassle of road closures or parking. Please allow extra travel time and use the journey planner for more information.
